My family loves this chicken! It is always so hurting and moist and is a truth Sunday dinner. The bacon helps to baste the chicken while it cooks. Recipe can be adjusted to any size total chicken.

  1. 2 tablespoons butter
  2. 1 (4 pound) whole chicken
  3. salt and pepper to taste
  4. 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  5. 2 carrots, cut in chunks
  6. paprika to taste
  7. 8 slices bacon
  8. 2 cups beef broth

The instruction how to make Bacon Roasted Chicken

  1. Preheat the oven to 450 degrees F (220 degrees C).
